Dam Good

About Us

The founders of Dam Good Stuff Inc., Ray and Carol Cunningham, were engineers at the San Roque Dam Project (thus the name) known as the San Roque Multipurpose Project (SRMP). It was built by the San Roque Power Corporation and the National Power Corporation from 1998 to 2003.  The construction of the SRMP required several hundreds of households in San Manuel and San Nicolas, Pangasinan and in Itogon, Benguet to be relocated to resettlement communities. About 1,700 other families living near the construction site were also affected. To help the relocated families establish themselves in their new communities, cooperatives were formed to create livelihood opportunities to supplement income from traditional sources, such as agriculture and panning for gold.

One of these social entrepreneurship ventures is Dam Good Stuff, Inc.

I was able to send my children to school and they finish their High School education… and now, with my grandchildren. This livelihood program helped me and my family a lot, thanks to DGSI. I hope DGSI and Agno Artisans continue to prosper to help more women.

I started as trainee last 2013 and fortunately became a regular in a very short time. Being part of Agno Artisans is a huge help for me. I was able to help my mother with daily expenses and needs. Aside from monthly salary and benefits,

I was able to meet new friends and treat each other as our own family,

ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY.

I hope that this cooperative will last longer so they can help more people...
